Hi there!
My name is Abike (it means born to be cared for). I'm a wife and a mom to two boys and a girl who keeps me on my toes.
I was born in Nigeria, West Africa, and I moved to the states at the age of 9. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with my Masters's degree in 2012 and I thought for sure I was about to take over Corporate America. lol!
Well, life had a go at me- over and over and over again (Infertility, Countless miscarriages, among other things). Keeping a job became almost impossible, so I started my business, Designs by Abike, and I thoroughly love every second of it.
So, where does cooking fit into all these? I've been cooking and catering for years. I host Christmas and Thanksgiving parties, catered birthday parties, etc. but I never imagined it would turn into a business.
At the requests of clients/friends from Designs by Abike, I started offering dishes here and there and, finally, I decided to take a go at it and see where it leads. Can I just say, I am enjoying every minute of this as well?
I don't take the trust you've placed in me lightly. Whatever I do, I do it to the best of my ability. So, whether you're shopping with me here or at Designs by Abike, expect nothing but exemplary service.

I love math. (Not sure how good I am now so maybe I should say loved).
I love people but I also LOVE my alone time.
I love to cook. It's a form of art that I thoroughly admire.
